Henco Scholtz
Henco founded CHEL Building & Civil Services with a commitment to bringing rigorous engineering discipline and hands-on delivery experience together under one roof. With more than 28 years of involvement across major civil engineering projects, residential estate development, commercial construction and infrastructure works throughout South Africa and internationally, he leads CHEL’s technical and commercial operations.
His background spans dam construction, road and bridge infrastructure, substation engineering, port civil works and large-scale residential development co-ordination — experience that directly informs how CHEL approaches risk identification, programme management and constructable engineering for its clients.
Based in George, Henco works closely with each CHEL client throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining direct accountability for the quality and delivery of all work the company undertakes.
